Did anyone from Detroit area get FP notice?

Hello,
My wife and I got out 485 approved last month. I am from the Detroit area. We still haven't got our Biometric notice. We went to the local ASC to get the Passport stamped and was denied. They said we have to wait for the Biometrics. Did anyone get a Biometric appointment notice in Detroit, after 485 approval, in the near past?

Yes I am from Metro Detroit area. I got my Biometrics Notice 82 days after I-485 approval. The notification process is slow but you will get it. As per the new proceedings especially in NSC, no pass port stamping, no I-94/EAD/AP submission required any more. After Biomet, process will be very fast to have your original GC.

Biomet. notice Received: Aug 15,2005
Biomet done: Aug.26
card received: Sep.1,2005. (yes seventh day after Biomet. was done done)
