this was the first time I was applying for iEAD
having filed for 485 and iEAD earlier in august 2002

ead renewal: yes the person walked in and got his case renewed
before 90 days: got no idea
duration of iEAD: depends on the INS office- 3 months or 8 months. Be happy to get an iEAD :-) - at least for some time
