I would really appreciate your help on this i hope to file a re-entry permit in the next 2 weeks.
Im a DV Lotto winner. I have only been in america for about a month but i plan on going travelling through central and south america and maybe some of asia before i go home to Europe for about a year before i start my life in America.
I suppose firstly, is it easy to get one of these? Are they fairly straight forward? I had no problems with my DV lotto experiance.
If I get the permit sent to my Embassy at home how long will they hold it for me there, up to 2 years?
Should i apply also for a N-470 to preserve my residence for Naturalisation?
Are many people requested to go for interviews to receive the permit as i expect to be out of the country before i get my confirmation.
Relating to the application itself:
Part1 Q1: A# what is this? is it on my visa? I havent actually received the card yet.
Part 1 Q3: Class of admission what would i say here?
Also when applying for the GC i put my address down as one on the east coast to send the card to. This is a permanent address of people i know. I am living and working on the west coast at the moment just staying in a hostel but gave my employers this address. So tax man probably thinks i live here. Which american address do you think i should put down on this form? Bearing in mind my current address is only temporary. Will they notice a west coast post mark if i provide an east coast address?
Part 2. Should i put down the same american address as in part 1 or my european address
Part 4. What info should i give about my travel is there any generic info that they look for. I basically intend traveling till my money runs out then going home and looking for a career.
