derivatives

Hi all, i am an unmarried father, not with the mother, i realize that on part one of the DV form i should declare ONE child, but then do i need to complete Part 2 (Entry form for derivatives) even if my daughter would not be coming with me?

Also another question, i was found guilty 9 years ago of hitting the mother (trumped up case whilst we were in court for custody of our daughter...anyway) i was given no custodial sentence and no fine, just a plain guilty...would this ne held against me, if so, is it worth applying?

many thanks for any help.

I really didn't want to go here...but what a great immature reply you gave!

1st..do you believe so much in the judicial system that maybe i didn't actually do it but this hyped up case was just to try to make it more difficult for me to give my daughter a father? (and believe me moving to a foreign country to be close to her is not the easiest thing, so please...you can leave this thread and me and my sentiments alone)

2nd..lets imagine that i didn't do it (can you be so grown up to imagine that?) what would you say to this mother who wants her daughter to believe when she is older that her father did this....a complete lie! AND what about all the other real cases of this happening to women, it just belittles them ( that a woman can do this to other women with this real problem ), these 2 things are what really annoyed me. Not only this but years later the mother wanted to go to counseling together and she admitted in front of the counselor that i never touched her. SO i would ask you kindly not to add any more to this thread, i do not even seek your apology, and leave someone else to help. Thanks.

So please could someone answer the question...thankyou.

Hi
If u never been married and u haven't got any custody over ur child I believe u don't need to include her\him on ur application... All the best luck

You should list the child on your appllication (the online eDV one) and complete the second part too. If you are selected there is a form for each derivative that you want to get a GC - I assume you would not want to complete that form at that time - but at least you will have been completely truthful about the child.

For the conviction it should not be an issue - it was a long time ago and with no custodial sentence that won't cause an issue.

I agree with britsimon now
U should rather list him her than if u selected u can always not include form to follow
For GC.
Britsimon is so right

Yeah, the point is you never knw what will happen in the future. Maybe the child will want to come to the USA one day, or who knows, but if you have not listed the child you could get in trouble now or later...
