I'm new to the forum and need help. I applied for a derivative asylum form I-589 and did not here anything for over a year, inquiries led me no where (app probably lost). So I decided to reapply and received a notice of action for biometrics on 6/2012. I have not heard anything since then. The receipt number starts with a ZDF and I am unable to find out case status. I wrote a letter to the San Francisco Asylum office since it falls under their juricdiction. Is ZDF for San Francisco office. I was reading online that ZSF is San Francisco, ZMI is Miami....
Can someone please help me.
