Hi guys! I have a couple of quick questions:
When an RFE is issued on a case does it usually ask for documentation from both the main applicant (e.g. myself) and the secondary applicant (e.g. my wife)?
Similarly, if we are transferred to a local office for an interview, do both of us need to go or just me? Can potential issues in my wife's prior status affect the overall application even if my status has always been perfectly clean?

As far as I know, an RFE would be issued just for the primary applicant provided it's something of the order, paystubs, employment letter, etc. But if they're looking for specific information from your wife, she too could get an RFE.

Again, my knowledge is limited wrt local transfers, but if that happens I guess all 485 applicants would need to go for the interview.

I don't think your wife's prior status would have any bearing on your application, if at all, just hers.
