Dependent visa question

Hi all:

I am currently in the US on a valid H-1B visa. I would like to bring my wife and 6-month old child to the US as my dependents. Can both of them be brought on H-4 visa(s)? Is the procedure (for the kid) similar to applying H-4 visa for a spouse?

Yes the procedure is same, the only difference is

In your wife case , you need to submit Marriage certificate and in your kid\'s case submit your marriage certificate + kid\'s birth certificate. Of course you need to submit all other necessary documents with both the applications
