Dependent Child

Hi,

I am trying to figure out the dependent child condition for N-400 document.

I married with ex-wife back in 1990 and divorced 1993 in Korea.
I had a boy who born in 1991. We never see each other after divorce.

Then I married to current wife in 1999 and came to US same year and have 2 sons in US.

I got a green card 2007 Aug.

In N-400 document I listed my ex-wife and Son.
Now my son in Korea became 20 year old last November.
Is 20 year old son still dependent child? and Do I have to have all child support document?

Thanks,
N,J

You have to prove that you paid child support from you divorced until he turned 18 (or an earlier age as specified on the divorce settlement), or that you were exempt from paying child support (such as if your parental rights were terminated, or your wife made too much money to be eligible to collect child support from you).
