Dependent 485 not approved yet- What should I do?

Hi folks,

My case got approved on Aug 21st per AVM. I haven\'t recd the notice yet. But for my wife and kids, AVM still says "Your I485 application was recd on ... ... bla bla".

Anyone had similar situation. I am wondering what should I do?

Ravi u might want to check with IIO..its posible ur family is approved but AVM not updated..by the way i too have not received approval notice where do u live?

I recd my approval notice yesterday and my lawyer also recd it yesterday. But it\'s only my notice. My family\'s case- AVM says "485 appl recd Oct 99 .......".

I am going to try talk to IIO- but I am gone on business trip whole of next week. Will try.

I live in East Bay.

Debo, my notice does not say anywhere that I need to go for stamping within 30 days etc. In other words, it does not seem to have any expiration kind of date. The issue I am facing is- should I get the stamp or should I wait for my family\'s approval and then all of us get stamp.

If you have recd your notice, pls post if it has any validity details. My notice advises to go to SFO INS for stamping.

I received my approval notice yerterday..No there is no expiry date on it. It tells me to goto downtown LA INS office...cos of crowd situation there I will be going to Santa Ana office monday morning...Talk to IIO about your family issue ..
