dependant pending - congressmen answer

Hi,

My and my son cases were approved at 09/30/04. My husband case still pending
Couple weeks ago I met our congressmen and ask her to help us.

Yesterday we received an answer from the Congressmen

My office has recently received correspondence from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) regarding the inquiry I sent to them on your behalf

According to the Congressional Liaison of the Nebraska Service Center, your file is currently located with your wife's file in the green card production area. However USCIS records do not indicate that your file has been approved to date. The liaison has requested your file to determine the status of your case.
As soon as a response is received from the USCIS liaison my office will contact you.

I can't believe those guys at NSC. How they can put his file with the green card when they did not approved it yet?
But I've been through that so it doesn't surprise me anymore...
