DENIED! My wife's GC ... Help!

Please help. We went to interview on Monday and received a denial letter today for Marriage Based GC. I am a US Citizen and the only reason cited in the denial letter was: We did not show proof of current employment letter and pay document. (We thought we have submitted everything and they are asking us for the 2006 tax and paydocument. And we did not bring with us.)
I submitted all the taxes from past three years.

What can I do now? Shouldn't I get a chance to send in the documents? Why do I get a denial letter?

Hate USCIS!

You should have supplied all the Employment Details with the I-864.
Did they question the 864? If so, then you should have got an RFE first.

wow..bizzare

how was the interview, in general ? you haven't given any info about it. Did the IO give u a chance to go home and mail him back the required missing stuff? Also, like rjo asked, how come u weren't asked for an RFE? By the way, even tho u submit copies of the past tax returns etc...YOU DO have to carry the original W2/1099 to show to the officer during the interview. Aso required are :
1. Recent employer's letter for BOTH spouses
2. Paystubs for both spouses if both are working.
3. Birth certs for both

Forgive me, but are u unemployed now ? Did you try to hide that from the IO ?
Need more info before any1 can assist you.good luck !
