Denied H4-H1 at Toronto Last week

hi Guys,

I want to share my sad experience which could be beneficial for others.
I was denied h4-h1 visa at Toronto. The Officer who interviewed me denied my request saying they cannot evaluate my academic and experience in toronto, and asked me to go to my home country. (india). So it seems no use of going there for h4-h1.They didn\'t bothered to look at my certificates either. Seems like they made a decision not to issue h4-h1 from there. I have each and every piece of document including 2 years tax returns, and paystubs continuously till date.but they didn\'t care to see them.

I went there by air.

But didn\'t face any problems while coming into US, though immigration guys thoroughly checked everything, and since i was never out of status,gave me a new I-94 card valid till the date on the H1 approval notice.

Mr.Clean, did you get your degree in US or from India? it might be the reason they can not evalate f

 
 
It was from india, but i told them

about the evalutation certificate i submitted with h1 petition, but they didn\'t considered it.No luck maan!
 
New I94

Did u give your old I94 when you went to toronto ??
Did they write anything on your passport?
i heard that they will check the I94 when you enter US fm canada,never heard that they would give new I-94
What stamp do you have in ur passport?H4 right?
