Denied entry on H1

Dear friends,
I have taken H1B visa in Aug. 2004 and my I797B form is valid from October 2004 to September 2007. Due to my commitments with my current employer, I could not go USA in 2004. I was communicating with my employer in USA about my commitments, he accepted and asked me to come whenever it is possible. Later, in this year I could finish my commitments and decided to go.
In May, this year I was in Washington and got screwed up, I could not convince the authority that I still have a job in USA and many other problems added up and I was denied entry in to USA.
Later I contacted the employer in USA about this problem. Luckily he gave me a new offer letter.
Can I go for a visa on the same I797B form as earlier or do you need a new form. Is this
Please help me in this issue.

Thank you very much for your reply.
I am now in Germany, actually I am working in Germany and I am an Indian.
In Washington they asked me a new offer letter from the company, but my company just gave a phone number which I gave to them.Then the officer checked that number in telephone directory and said that He cannot find the number. later after 2-3 hours they checked my hand luggage, they found an internal ticket within USA, actually I planned to visit my cousin in USA.
Meanwhile he could contact my company, the officer asked whether he(the person from my company) knows any person who is coming from Germany who is coming 8 months after stamping the H1B visa.But unfortunately that person said he does not know any such person. So they took my sworn statements and suggested me to withdraw my visa and I had withdraw and had to return back to Germany.

I called the consulate in Frankfurt and explained my situation, they said that in order to reapply for H1B visa I have to take a new I797B form. I asked my company for whether I need a new I797B form,they got it clarified this with INS and could find that my H1 is still valid.

But on that day the immigration officer asked me that I need to take a new H1B and the quota for this year is finished.

So I do not know whether I should attend for visa again believing my companies suggesstion or get the new I797B form believing the consulate?

So if you have any idea this please give information
