Can anyone help me?
In the denial letter it states the reason for denial is that the requested evidence was not submitted by the required date and that we were supposed to send a properly executed Affidavit of Support Form I-864 and that we failed to do so. Bu that is not true,we even have the receipt for the letter that we sent per certified mail.
What can we do?
Someone please help, do we have to file a motion to reopen even though it is not our fault?

Seems like INS made a mistake on your case. But may be you didn't filled it out properly? Did you go to the notary republic to put a stamp on your affidavit? If you are sure that you did, make an infopass appointment and bring a copy of your receipt. That should do. If not, contact a lawyer and file a motion to reopen. Another option is to call the customer service and explain the situation. As long as you have a proof that you submitted everything on time, they have to re-evaluate your case. Don't worry, it's not the end of the world. Best of luck to you!
