Hi all,
I applied for the K1 visa and MY application was denied on the basis that I am ineligible to apply for K1 visa. I live in state of California and it takes about 6 months for status to be restored to single after one files for divorce. I applied a month before that thinking by the time my application goes through I will be restored to single status. I received a letter of denial from INS which stated that I can appeal for this case. I then went to the INS office and they told me to re-apply. I reapplied om April 17 the day my status was restored to single. I have not received any letter of confirmation since I have re-applied on April, 17, 2009. How long does it take to receive a letter from INS? Should I do something since I did not receive any letter?
