Delivery of Plastic Card | Conslidation of problems that people face

Gurus,
I have seen a lot of posts around plastic cards, and physical address issues. To close this issue once and for all, I am posting this question. Once I get the answers, I will consolidate the responses, and post them out for everyboy\'s benefit
Here are the questions. Everybody, please answer both your personal experiences regarding this and any thoughts you may have
- Are the plastic cards hand-delivered or are they sent by normal US mail?
- If the address changes, between stamping and the actual delivery, what happens? Do they allow mail to be forwarded?
- If one moves, and the plastic card doesnot reach that person, can one physically go to some collection center (where?), and get one?
- What if one decides to give a relative or friends address who has a more permanent house? When they deliver do they make sure that the applicant actually lives there? What are people\'s experiences on this?

My Experience in CAPS

-Are the plastic cards hand-delivered or are they sent by normal US mail?
SENT OUT FROM MUSQUITE, TX IN NORMAL(FIRST CLASS) US MAIL. EACH FAMILY MEMBER GETS SEPARATE ENVELOP WITH THEIR CARD.

- If the address changes, between stamping and the actual delivery, what happens? Do they allow mail to be forwarded?
NOT SURE IF GC IS FORWARD. SOME MAIL WITH IMPORTANT DOCS LIKE DRIVERS LICENCE IS NOT FORWARDED SO I WOULD ASSUME NO FORWARDING APPLYING TO GC TOO (TO AVOID THIS SITUATION LOOK BELOW)

I HAD GIVEN A FRIENDS ADDRESS AND NO CONFIRMATION WAS DONE. THE CARDS ARRIVED IN US MAIL AND I PICKED THEM UP. THIS IS THE BEST OPTION IF YOU FEEL YOU WILL MOVE SHORTLY OR TRAVEL FOR WORK.
