delhi embassy stamp delays

What\'s the deal with the delhi embassy?. my brother went for stamping. They asked for company\'s financial papers like W2 etc.. he returned and provided that. Now, they kept all the papers and passport and fees etc., and asked him to come back after one week. They didn\'t mention if they will give visa or not. What do you think guys?..Any such experieces heard of?.. Will he get the visa or not? Thanks a lot.

Did your brother get the visa after one week?

Did he not provide the required documents (as enlisted on consulate website) when he applied, or did they ask for documents in addition to that.

I'm hoping to know your experience as I will be applying at the Delhi consulate also
