I think the present delays in processing 485 has something to do with general policies rather than security checks. I think we should act and let our senators know about this. I think we should write to the publications and news media about this and bring it to the attention of the media. Most of the people in this group have spend 4-6 years in this country, paid our taxes and lived a lawful life. I think it is time to act. We should let people know of our frustration. I believe all employment based AOS cases have been clubbed with family based systems. So it is going to be a big delay. I have Nov 01 ND. I don't think my approval will come up in another 3-4 months. Please do what all you can. Authorities have every right to conduct security checks to any extent they like. However should that be used as a pretext to shake off possible immigrations ??
