Delaying the FP

Does anyone know if delaying the FP by a couple of weeks has any repercussions??

I am considering delaying the FP until the last week of the deadline to buy sometime. I am getting married shortly after and am doing this to ensure that she gets the immigration benefits with me as well.

Please post your suggestions.. Thanks!
 
Better don't do that if it is not needed. I delayed until last week of allowed time and now I am regreting it thinking my case might have been aproved had I not delayed as FP or CP trend continued for sometime sometime back..

Yes, there are no other issues in delaying...I delayed it for almost two months...
