Delay in I-485 processing

Hello,
My wife and I applied for our I-485 on Jan 24. My I-485 was approved on Mar 17, however, my wife's I-485, which is based on my I-485 is pending. The status on USCIS shows "results of fingerprint was received". Is this normal? What is the typical delay in processing between the primary applicant and dependents?

There is no "typical delay". Normally cases filed together are approved within one month of each other. However, if there is any RFE or extensive security checks, one of the cases can take longer. I have seen this forum, sometimes dependent's case (wife or children) was approved way before primary's case - where husband's case was stuck in security checks. On the other hand, RFE on dependent's case (medical, birth certificate, proof of marriage) can take longer.
