I applied I-485 based on I-130 through marriage to US citizen, receipt date 31st January 2007. Fingerprinting Feb 2007, EAD March 2007. Me and my wife had interview at St. Paul, MN May 30, 2007.
1st renewal of EAD January 2008. Applied again for EAD renewal December 2008.
Moved to Chicago, IL from Bismarck, ND since September, 2008. Went for finger print update November, 2008.
I made four phone calls in last two years to USCIS customer service and they were sending me letters for additional reviews being conducted. Asked senator office to inquire. Have all the documents.
Last week went to Chicago USCIS office and learned that My FBI name check came back clear but St. Paul did not make any decision on my case. Since I moved to Chicago St. Paul forwarded my file to Chicago. Asked the immigration officer what is the holdup but could not give me any.
Could any of you please share your similar experience.
Can anybody advise what should be my plan of action? Should I apply for mandamus?
