Hello Mr Khanna,

I would greatly appreciate if you could kindly advice why I am having a delay in recieving my GC Approval. I have explained my case below as best I could.

I have an I-485 pending in EB3, my priority date is August 16, 2002.
My dates have been current since February 2012, I have had a couple of issues with my case which were answered to USCIS successfull during my interview in 2010.

The issues are as follows.

1) I had recieved an RFE on my I-140 for Inability to pay (This was addressed and cleared)
2) Unfortunate DWI in July 2002.
3) Recieved a NOID for my I-485 due to emloyers failure to file H1, prior to having me start working for them. (Answered successfully)
4) Interviewed in 2010 ( Was told by the USCIS officer that I was good to go and should lookout for my Green Card in the mail, at which point in time my lawyer choose to inform the officer that my dates were not current. Hence the officer marked the sheet with Under Review.

I have called the USCIS on multiple occasions and am always told that my case is under process.

My question to you is Mr. Khanna:

1) Would I have any repurcussions if I were to follow up on my Case using the help of a local congressmen, or by requesting an InfoPass.

I would greatly appreciate if you could kindly give me your expert advice. I have been waiting patiently for the past 8 months, not knowing where I stand and what I should do.

Thank you in Advance.
ZC
