Delay in FP notice – Dear friends please help me ...

Dear friends,

Filed I-485 with VSC for EB2 case (RD: 07/06/01 and ND: 08/20/01). Have not received FP notice yet. I see lot of people got their FP done who filed with me in July\' 01. Is it normal with VSC? And, is there any connection between FP notice date and I-485 approval date? I am worrying about more delay in my G.C approval. I am in CA (Bay Area) Does it matter where do you live? Please share your experience.

FP depends on the state - but you should try to talk to an IIO and also speak with your lawyer.

...Because we\'ve already started seeing June RD approvals from VSC. It\'s better to talk to the lawyer and IIO to check the status of FP.

I saw some discussion on this board about 485 approval without FP. There is a very slight chance that 485 is approved first and then you\'re asked to go for FP - Here is the discussion link -
