I would like to share my experience as well as please let me know if any body has got any suggestion. I filed my I-485 on sep, 1999. Then recently I heard that INS VSC is processing the filling during the time I had filed. But even though I am Indian born my wife is from different country. For that reason my attorny cross charged me to World wide quota. Now INS said that they have put my filing in pending status as all indian filling are in hold. But after telling about my world wide quota status, they siad that they will look into it again. This might take another 30 to 45 days. But I am still not sure how they are going to handle it.
