Delay FP?

Hi,

I got my FP appt for March 28. I would be in India at that time. I am only coming back in April. The FP letter says that I can come on the scheduled date or any wednesday after the appt till the first week of May. Just want to the know the effect on my 485 if I delay the FPs by 10 days.

What service center are you in and where is your FP ? Are you a Eb2 or Eb3 ? Is your's a concurrent filing ? What is the RD/ND of 140 and 485 ??

I think you will be ok

I do not see any reason you can not go for the following wednesday as long as before the due date mentioned on FP notice.

INS allows you to go later time as long as within that timeframe it mentioned. sometimes, people have their finger cut and have to wait for another time, so do not worry, if you will go 10 days later.

I recently took my parents for FP. They did not have any photo ID's, so we should get some ID's, then go back and have their FP done. The officer told me that we had 90 days to go back. But, then I read on this forum that if you don't get you FP done in 84 days, your application would be withdrawn. Now, according to your FP letter, Chichu9, they are giving you 37 days from the appnt day.
Anyhow, going for FP 10 days late would definitely be fine.
