delay between St.loius and NVC????

Hi all,
IS anyone else experiencing similar delay???
I had sent my pckt 3 to STL on aug 10th?
NVC is yet to recieve it.
MY chq was cashed on aug 21st.

not unusual

mine took 6 weeks to reach nvc, check cptracker.com and u will find out average
 
You sent it at the wrong time...you should have sent it a second later

I sent it on june 10th and you know when it was received at NH??
July 31st!!!
I was scared to death if my packet has been atleast delivered or not??
Ordered for a Dupe P3, bugged NVC everyday at 8:00 IN the morning!!
Thank GOD!!!!it was the delay!!!
So dont worry!!!Its all our luck and the star configuration(Astrologically speaking) when you send it........

.....:D Atleast now I am expecting a nov interview....
again Jupiter, mars, S A T U R N ...as always in GC processing!!

It took about five months for my I140 approval to reach NVC... :-(

Hi Newchennai,

Am in a similar situation - my Pkt3 was sent to STL on July 25th and still haven't heard a peep from NVC!

You can check with the bank when your cashier's check was cashed..

I still haven't called the NVC. I'm waiting to hear from my lawyer's office on whether or not the check has been cashed. Will keep you updated.

If I added my wife as dependent after NVC sent pckt3 to me..does it create some problems in STL stage...
both of my chqs were cashed.. i mean mine and my wife..

NewChennai - It did happen to me. Ofcourse, I included my wife in my I-140 filing, but NVC for some reasons did not include my wife's details and sent the P3 only for me.

Then, I called them up and was asked to include her forms + MC + BC and send it to StL. Mine took 7 weeks to reach NVC from StL.

Hope yours would reach NVC soon

How did you folks verify whether your checks have been cashed or not? My lawyer tells me that we have sent cashier's checks and there is no way of determining if cashier's checks have been cleared?

It is very easy...
Just call the bank( the 1-800 number given in the receipt of the check).. and tell the check number...
they will tell you when it was cashed...
 
Just checked with the bank - looks like the checks were cashed on 08/01 - looks like the process takes a long, long time.
 
did it reach NVC?
if so did it get reviewed?
