Deffered prosecution

Marrige based gc: conditional gc 2002. 2004 had a loud argument with my wife, police came: assault on a female. I was offered deffered prosecution. 2005 I applied for permanent gc and I reaveal the facts to USCIS. permenanet gc 2005 july granted.
I want to apply for citizenship. Could it be still considered base for deportation? Even after I reveal that to USCIS and they granted me the perm gc?

I disagree with GhantaBro's opinion.

A deferred prosecution is highly likely to be considered the same as a conviction for immigration purposes. Not only should you seek legal advise prior to sending an N-400 to USCIS, but you quite probably need to make sure the probationary period falls outside the 5yr CIMT window.
