One of my friend sued by credit card companies and got default judgement against him.Now his N400 interview is coming with background check uscis will know this.So is that a problem for him?
Credit history is not part of the N-400 process, so it sounds to me like this will not be a problem. That said, I'm not sure of the position re: civil judgements - you may be wise to check with a lawyer.
