Deducting legal expenses from Taxes

If your legal expenses are related to doing or keeping your job, you can deduct them from your taxes.

As I consider my asylum and adjustment related legal expenses related to "keeping my job" I claim those as deductions.

Your mileage may vary, but if you use a lawyer, you might want to explore this option and get a little back.
