I had converted my H4 visa to H1 visa and worked in the US for 2 years till Oct 2006. Since I had not applied for my GC I had to quit US for 1 year as per earlier rule. Iam currently in India and now that decoupling of H4 and H1 has come into existence,
1. Do I need to apply for new H1 visa this April 2007 and wait till I receive the approval in Oct 2007?
2. Is there a way to just extend my H1 visa for whatever H4 visa I stayed in US earlier?
3.On what visa do I need to enter US?
Please help me with these queries.
