My timelines were as follow:
Applied for Citizenship: March 02, 2004
Finger Print Date: April 13, 2004
Interview Date: November 03, 2004
Oath Date: ????!!!!

After I passed all interview tests the officer told me that the decision can not be made on my case, he did not ask me for any additional documents. I asked him, when should I receive my ceremony letter ? he said, if you are lucky you will receive it on December 2004, maximum February 2005!!
After the 120 days from the date of my interview, I sent the DO a letter to check on the status of my case. Two weeks latter, I received a handwritten piece of paper saying that my case still awaiting all administrative check!!
I am really frustrated, my records are absolutely clean. Not even a driving ticket..
Some of my friends whose records are way less than mine got neutralized in a period of 6 months from the date of their application!!
What could be the reason for that delay ? and what should I do next ?

He did not mention anything about name check.
it was just (a decision can not be made) with no specific reason

you should make an infopass appointment and inquire what exactly is pending for.

I already did
Scheduled this Friday..
it's been more than seven months since my Interview
If they gave me the same answer, how can i contact the senator's office ?

This website is extremely useful not only for contacting the senators but for many other government business you need to do. the website is : www.firstgov.gov

Well, as i mentioned in my first thread, ALL my friends got nutralized in a period of six months from the date of their N-400 application.
I really need to know the reason for the delay, i am very successful in my work, no arrests, citations.... NOTHING.
What is the reason for that hassle ?????????!!!!!!!! that's what will drive me crazy

may be your name sounds like someone on FBI wanted list.
well.. are all your friends who got naturalized are from middle east too?

I don't think so. I checked already with the FBI.. NOTHING
All my friends are middle eastern (same country)

how did you check with FBI regardling your name check? Did you call them on the phone? I am interested to know because I would like to get a headsup on my name check prior of my interview.
thanks in advance

I called to check the finger print progress
(304) 625-5590
The officer did not mention anything about (name check)
in addition, my name is not one of these easy and familiar middle eastern names, it is very difficult to match it.

I am sure that what "Omda" is talking about is the fingerprinting results not the namecheck results. There is no direct way to check the FBI's name check but through the email or certified mail.
