Hi Folks,

This thread is for PERM filings in DEC-06. Just post ur details here. Here is My details.( I'm posting this on nov-30 b'cz I filed today and considerd as Dec)

Date filed: 12/01/2006
Sponsorship mail date:Same day
Sponsorship responce: Same day
Categeory:EB2
Center: Chicago
Date certified/status: In Process

Crossed my fingers and tensed. My old labor is pending at DBEC with PD of July-03. I changed my employer and doing PERM now.

It's the email they send out the day or the next day you file your PERM application. It asks the employer whether they indeed applied for a PERM for the selected individual, and makes them confirm that they want to sponsor the person. It's just a short procedural thing, however if the employer doesn't respond, they won't process the application.
 
There are 3 emails that go out after an application is filed.
The 1st indicates that the case was submitted for processing.
The 2nd is the sponsorship email (or, in the attorney's case, a notification that the sponsorship email was sent to the employer)
The 3rd is the confirmation that the questionnaire was received and will continue processing.
The sponsorship email will go to the email address on the application that is indicated on the first page in the last field (the employer contact information).

PERM Approved

My PERM applied on DEC-01-06 has been approved today. Waiting for Hard copy. Thanks everyone who wished me.
