Hi,

It seems my case is approved after staying in US for a decade

My RD is 12/7/01
RFE generated May 9
RFE Respond received June 12
AOS AD 6/20

I have one question for the gurus though. I am currently overseas, planning to be with my family for an other 4 weeks.

1)So what will be the procedure for entry to US. Still enter to POE with my Advance Parole and may be copy of the Web site ??

2)One more question regarding going for passport stamping little late ? Does that matter ? Is there any date for passport stamping in the approval letter

Thanks so much for your response

Congratulations..
Pls update www.rupnet.com/immigration

1, You can enter using AP.{Have a copy of approval from website, but hold it ..Not needed} The Officer would know of the status.

2. Not sure, but have read somewhere in the forum there isn't any limit, the stamping triggers the Card Order...!!

Good Luck

Use AP to enter US. The immigration officer at port of entry will inform that your case is approved and will request you to stamp the passport at the earliest.

I thought if the officer found that you were already approved, then your passport would be stamped there (in the secondary inspection)?
Because now, your status is a legal permanent resident, the officer will not give you a parole stamp on the passport. He/she will give you I-551 stamp instead.

Anyway - CONGRATS!!!

Congratulations! I think you can still enter on AP - although don't take my word for it - call your laywer!
