Dec 21 APPROVED after RFE!!!!

After a long wait, I got finally approved!!! Curiously, I had call BCIS during lunch time yesterday and I was told the average processing time was 19 months and to call back in September (they do not know how to do the math!!). Then, before leaving from work, I ran the inquiry through BCSI online and, to my surprise, the status showed "approved." I have been checking online status almost three times per day every day after submitting the RFE (2002 tax return, six months of pay stubs and company letter). As an interesting note, my company did not fully increase my salary to what they promised on the LC. However, the 6% salary difference did not affect BCIS decision.

I want to thank the law offices of Rajiv Khanna for keeping this great site up! Also, to all of our gurus and visitors, I got inspired month after month from listening to your stories and the ways in most cases things turned out.


My entire process (end to end from giving the LC paper work to lawyer to yesterday's approval) was 3 years and 2 months (Virginia).

So, like me, who was getting angry and sad until yesterday, just keep praying and your turn will be around the corner.

Congrats, normally 6-12 months is a safe period.

My RFE recieved date is July 1st, very close to yours. So now I am keeping my fingers crossed.
