Since we are desperate to go to India, is there a way that I can be issued an Advance Parole and EAD, on emergency grounds??

My H1 is expiring in another month, but I need to go for 2 months and my 485 application was filed y\'day.

I heard just an Advance Parole may not be sufficient as the officer may question where do you work etc. Also I heard about Newark office, where they will issue Parole.

Any suggestions are really appreciated.

I-140 Approved on Jun 30

You can go to local INS and explain the situation to get an AP.
Which state are you from in US. Check whether the local INS can give a AP.
