Dealing with selective service registration!!

we do know that failure to register with selective service cannot prevent an applicant for citizenship to be naturalize..of course we talking about( 31 year or older applicants).
but what about college financial aid:
*Did we have to endorse with the application a denial letter + letter of explanation..or doesn't matter anymore?
any similar situation..
 
If you came here after you reached 26 years, you are not required you register with the selective service; however, for financial aid purposes the higher education institutions require that you prove thay you were not required to register with the service. This is done by contacting them. they would normally send you a letter certifying that you were not required to register. This is what I did. This letter is used to show every federal government that you encounter.
