DD to send/courier documents back

I would like to know after the interview, whether we need to take DD for consulate to send the papers that we need to present at POE.
If yes, could you tell the amount and in whose favour ?

If you are talking about Chennai,

The DD should be payable to Blue Dart Express and should amount to Rs 300 + Rs 50 per person. Look at your P4 or research this forum for additional info!

Rajeev is basically correct.

Taking of DD applies to Chennai consulate only. If it is Bombay
they let you collect it yourself.

Take the dd in favor of ' Blud Dart Express Ltd.,' payable at
Chennai.
