DD Amount for feb Interview

Is this the right amount?
How often does it change? (weekly/monthly etc.)

I am wondering how soon I can take the DD!

Yes. Effective Jan.16th.

There is no set frequency to change the Fee. Based on the Dollar/Rs. conversion. Fee is $260; $65. Current exchange rate for the consulate Rs.49.
Any bank closer to consulate know the exact ammount. And they can process in about 15 min. I recommend not to take DDs in advance more than a wk.
