Date on Employment Letter

If my CP appointment is on Jan 24th and the Notarized Employment letter is dated Jan 4th, is it a problem?

Should the letter be dated within a week before the day of Appointment?

Thanks.

Best if consumed within a month!

My Lawyer suggested ... its safest, if its no more than a month old.. you never know the mood of the consular guy!

The physical address of the person generating the letter is not important, as long as that person has authority to speak on behalf of the company. Letters are valid for a maximum period of six months.

I just had my employment letter issued to me and my CP interview is January 16, 2002. They will take into account that there is Christmas in between.
