I went to a INS office last month. The computer system there shows that my name-check was pending. The date associated with the satus of my name check is 05/26/05. What does the date mean? I did 1st FP in DEC, 2003. In March of this year, congressman office submitted an enquiry on my behalf to TSC. TSC said my FBI name check was ok, but my 1st FP already expired at that time.. I did 2nd FP in March, but my case was still transferred to local office in May.
I feel INS improperly requested 2nd name check for my case on 05/26/05. Please advise what I can do to corret it. Thanks!
