Date of Birth Problem

The DOB on my birth certificate is different then what I have on all other documents (passport, school leaving, marriage certificate, driver license etc).

Will I get RFE?

not if the immigration officer isn't careful. otherwise, there is a strong possibility you will. if the dates are different, may i ask why you bothered to send the bc when a couple of simple affidavits from your relatives would have been enough.

did you not discuss this issue with your lawyer prior to sending it out. I think you'll be very lucky if this doesn't cause some questions/clarifications from INS regarding two different dates.

My case also similar to yours. I did talk to my lawyer before I send it to INS. Lawyer suggested me to get three affidavits stating that the date was mis-registered in the birth certificate, but the correct date was one on the School, passport, etc.

We just can't send affidavits alone. We need to get Non-Availability of Birth certifcicate and attach with affidavits. Since the municipality didn't provide non-availability certificate because they had my BC registered in some other date(not like in school certificate)
