date of birth mismatch in I797 and passport

hi friends,

my H1b is approved with wrong date of birth as my date of birth is printed wrong in my passport.Later i have corrected my date of birth in passport but there is mismatch in HIB I797B and the passport.

so can anybody let me know how to change date of birth in H1B i-797.

for information i have contacted my consultancy in US and they told that its not possible to change the DOB in I797 now.


i have appointment on november in mumbai so is there any problem to get h1b stamped with mismatch in DOB?


please give me your suggestions or share your experiences if you face this type of problem.

Could you please share the resolution. My friend's date of birth is wrong even in her certificate/passport etc. How can it be corrected once she is already in US?
 
Also, did you get it corrected in passport in US from Indian consulate, if yes what all supporting documents are required to do that.
