Date of birth difference between passport and birth certificate

Hi All,

Any pointers in the following regard will be highly appreciated.

If there is a difference in a person's date of birth between the passport and the birth certificate, will there be any problems when filing for I485 or at anytime during the GC process ? If yes, is there any workaround ?
