Date issue on Birth Certificate

Hi all ya'll,

Thanks all for replying to my earlier post and clearing my concerns.
I have a new question this time.

I have my BC which says issued in Aug 2007, registration date in 1983 during my birth. Is it okay to have such a long time gap between the two dates? or issuance date has to be recently after registration date. Is it okay to apply for GC with such certificate?

As long as the "birth date" is correct you have nothing to worry about!
 
What they might be concerned about is a large gap between the registration date and birth date. The issue date is not a problem; it is supposed to represent the date it was printed.
 
I got my GC with the birth certificate issue date being almost 10 years after the birth date. The registration date was less than 2 weeks after the birth.

Don't worry about the issue date. The registration date and birth date are the important dates.
