Date for Applying Citizenship

Hello there,

I have a question to ask to every body in calculating the number of the years.
My GC is dated since:
GC issue dated. 2008/3/31

1. 2008/3/31
2.2009/3/31 year completed counting by months. Ist year count
3.2010/3/31 another year completed counting by months 2nd year count
4. 2011/3/31/ another year completed counting by months 3rd year count
5. 2012/3/31/ another year completed counting by months 4th year count
6. 2013/3/31 another year completed counting by months, now 5 year complete. Is this the time for eligibility for citizenship?

Please help me count this years. Thank you.

I heard from past experiences that you may apply 90 days before the fifth anniversary of the GC issuance date.

It is bit too early for you to worry about citizenship at this time.
If you have to anyway, you are right in your calculation... good luck

For your case your are eligible to apply for Citizenship on Monday, December 31, 2012.
So when your apply give to self couple days to be on the safe side to void any rejection by USCIS because you are applying too early

I really thank you for all you guys gave something to my question and your commens and these are really helpful to me, and yes, I am earnestly waiting for the time of my eligibility to citizenship thats my dream come true when it come the right time and I am counting day by day every day.
