I am about to send in my data sheet and i have a doubt.
The data sheet asks for the "Date & Place of first entrance to U.S. on original Exchange Visitor (J-1)visa"
My J1 status was issued in march of 2001 (it was a transfer from F1), whereas i went to india and came back in July 2002.
So which date do they want? the date of issue (I was already in US for the previous 6 years on an F1 and it was a visa transfer) or the date of reentry on a J1 visa (which was around a year and a half after i started my J1).
