Dallas TX Processing Dates

Hello,

I've done my interview on the 15th Aug 2005, and they told me that I will receive the "result" letter within two weeks! Till today 10th Oct, 2005 I didn't receive anything and my status in the web is not shown...

Can anybody advise me if my situation is normal?

I checked the site, now they are processing cases with receipt dates April 1, 2005, mine is in the 12th of April... The last processing date "updates" was posted in (Sep 15, 2005), Does anybody know when the changes are posted in the site https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/officeProcesstimes.jsp?selectedOffice=24, and when can I expect receiving the result of my interview...

I don't know want you mean by 'result' letter.

There could be many reason why there is this delay depending on how the interview went.

1. If they gave you a slip which said Congrats! you have been approved, and your name check with FBI has come back, then you are just waiting for an oath letter. If this is the case, this is an unusual wait. You should take an infopass appintment to get the details.

2. If they have not give you the Congrats! letter at the end of the interview, they should have told you about any specific document or reason why they are not 'passing' you in the interview. The delay could also be due to synchornization of A-file especially true if you got your GC/H1s from other SCs other than TSC.

3. If everything is Ok and you are waiting for name check clearance to come thru, then from expereinces in this baord, it looks you may be in for a long wait. Better to involve Senator/congressman.
