I have to take my three month old baby to INS for my passport stamping. Anybody did passport stamping in Dallas INS office, please post their experience. I would like to know

1) What time to get there
2) How long it takes
3) Is there separate line for GC
4) What documents I should take

Thanks your help,

Here\'s my Dallas stamping experience....

Monday is probably the worst day to go, then Friday.
Good days are Tuesday/Thursday. My wife and I went in
about 3am (we were 15th or so in line). Most people were
wearing heavy clothes, some with thick blankets and chairs
to sit. I sent my wife to the car as it was very cold for her.
There\'s portable toilets, better used my men than women.
If you go in before 3:30am, you can get your work done
by 7:15, as they start letting people in at 6:30am. You can
also get there at 5:30/6:00 am., but you will get done in
a few hours of waiting in line outside/inside. The total time
is probably the same whether you get there early or not. I think
they stop letting people in after 1pm.

They make you take off anything that may beep in the
security gate (like belts, watches, etc.) Once inside, there\'s
another line to see someone to tell them what you are there
for. They give a number (starts with C, the C line says
is for Replacement Card people, we are in that line). They
didn\'t ask for much after 10 mins. of waiting with our C line
number. Make sure you sign the form properly and that your
right-index fingerprint is visible. My fingerprint on my card
is 1/4 visible because I didn\'t put on ink the second time I
had to give my finger-print. They have you sign two forms
(or maybe back/front of the same form, so two signatures and
two fingerprints are required). They only asked for my EAD/AP
documents which I never applied for. I didn\'t give my H1B papers
though because they didn\'t specifically ask for them.

The stamping is done, and we were out of there by 7:15am.
Our cards came in about 12 days. Some people from Dallas
stamping are getting their cards even faster. Good luck.
