Just wanted to share Dallas office interview experience. Both my husband & I had interview on Feb 28th. They were asking for social security card ( Thanks to this forum we had that in hand ). H had to answer lot of questions regarding traffic ticket he got which he reported on the application. ( we had driving history printed out from DMV web site & that helped him) We also saw couple of people who had results like " no decision could be made at this time " .
Since both of us finished our interview by 11.30 a.m ( that is the cut off time ) we got to take oath that day it self at 1.30 p.m
Now we are planning for next steps- applying for passports, applying for N 600 for our soon to be 18 yr old.
we don't post much in this forum & but actively follow the forum . we would like to thank all the people who gave/ still give excellent advice on immigartion matters

Congratulations! Make multiple copies of your certificate (just in case), go to social security office and update status, then apply for passport. :) I just finished the whole process and am now anxiously awaiting my passport... so know the drill.

Hi,

Congratulations. You talked about the traffic ticket...wasit just simple ticket ? I mean I had a ticket for overspeeding (53 on 35), paid 120 $ and 2 points. Thats it once. I did not mention it...based on what I read and instructions where it says no documentations below $500.....is that a problem ? Shall I tell this during interview?

Thanks
S

It was a simple speeding ticket while we were vacationing in new york) we went 65 in 55. we had the receipts for that fine- we did not get any points. she kept my H's DMV driving record in the file.
