As many in this forum, my priority date is April 22nd 2002 and have been waiting for greend card since filing I-485 in Sep 2003. I had interview with INS as my file was trannsferred to Cleveland office. And it has been two years since we were interviewed telling us your file is complete but wait for the numbers to be come available.
My career has progressed within the same company all these years and grew from software engineer II to Sr. Team leader.
Now I got a job with another company as an engineering manager. But my dilemma is about portability and its impact on my greedcard.
Can anyone shed some light on this aspect through their experience? What would be my options?
